The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Fighters Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in power within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of characters who will branch out from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem mismatched, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, striking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.

The traitor then cleared his debts and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a individual motive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty location.
  • The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the group access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to travel to the remote area in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Questers and Planners parties.

Audiences can look forward to finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
