Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Takes On Artist Murs in Premier League Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game victorious run was ended by the Black Cats before the international break, however will the Premier League leaders bounce back against local foes Spurs this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," stated football expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this season, against AI, readers and a variety of guests.
For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
The singer's latest album, Knees Up, is out on the weekend.
Soccer and Family Life
Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished singer and has been a star of several Soccer Aid games down the years - but he is not planning a serious return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "The side was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or son chooses to play instead."
The singer and his wife his partner have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't push football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be coaching their weekend football team," he added.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I inherited it. He coached our side for several years and had great fun with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their offense is now stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this game will be quite close, though. Burnley are well organised and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have lost their past two games - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, West Ham won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's only away win this campaign came at Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's manager.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - can West Ham continuing their run under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I will choose Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
The guest's outlook: The home team are performing strongly but West Ham have improved under Nuno. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for relegation before the campaign started, but they have impressed a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their past four matches.
My son advised me to get Brentford striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
The forward will probably score again on Saturday but I am still not going to pick him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the travel this season, and Brighton are consistently strong at home. Brentford will try to attack on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team carry much more of a threat.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
Olly's prediction: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many goals but it actually turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six matches.
They have have lots of quality in their team but it still feels like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.
Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League campaign so far.
Their performance in the 2-2 tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We've not witnessed any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the end of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Instead, I truly need to continue opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive results because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage form, the only side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be extremely eager for a good result, so I am going to say they will pick up three much-needed points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I'm aware the visitors are performing strongly and additionally that Fulham are on a poor streak... but they have still been decent at home this season. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

This is a hard one to call. The Reds have suffered seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but could they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
